Your review is trash, but I couldn't agree more about the gameplay being sluggish and unresponsive, like, even the roll, the main mechanic, isn't instantaneous, it has like a 1/3 of a second delay.

When i first played Dark Souls 1, I made it to undead burg and quit. I thought it was terrible, too hard, not for me. My best friend pulled me into it on accident years later. I forgot I had played it before, downloaded it, and got right in to dying again. He taught me how to play, and eventually it clicked, and became fun. Hours upon hours of talking, prepping for bosses, exploring the landscape, and reading the descriptions to discuss lore at bonfires. All good times. You might have hated it 2 years ago. But if you havent tried it since, youre doing yourself a diservice. You should find a friend to suffer with. Its the core of the ganes experience.

I typically don't play games like this, I normally don't like them. I'm much more into story based games than hard RPG's. I've platinumed this one and sunk 6 hundred and 22 hours into it as of this recording. It's highly addictive and I love seeing what happens when you can just break bosses with insane, high damage builds.

Think about the logistics of adding an easy mode. Right off the bat Elden ring has a multiplayer component, so adding an easy mode means they would have to divide the player base. Which is whole can of worms that would have meant less time making actual content for the game. Second, FS has difficult bosses and enemies, but also difficulty through environments. Adding an easy mode would therefore mean they would need to gut and redesign massive portions of the game. In the case of FS games its not as easy as just adding a damage slider. Third, most video games nowadays are designed around baby easy mode. We have enough games that hold your hand and make sure the player cant lose. Go play one of the thousands of games that baby the player if you want that. FS is one of the few developers who is actually making challenging but fair games. They are bastion for those of us who like a challenge, please stop trying to take that away from us, you have plenty of options for games with a baby easy mode, you dont need this one too!

Daniel.. you need to figure out something better. That is just the reality. You are still young. You are very smart and articulate, but for some reason you don't want to do anything. Why?? The longer you wait, the harder things will get... You live at home use that to your advantage. For us asians, it's normal for adult children to live with their parents. A lot of times whole families live together forever. In the UK, do you guys have community college like in the US where the classes are more affordable then transfer to a university? That's how a lot of people start over and get a good job. I'm personally going for accounting, doing two years at CC then transfer to my local university to become a CPA. Maybe just take a class or two in different subjects to try out different things. Try to suspend and not be so critical of everything especially yourself. You're too hard on yourself, just give things a chance. A lot of things you just have to work at to get better no raw talent needed. Hopefully your videos get more views.
